Our Sacred Stories: A Community Gathering
An afternoon of shared stories, witness, and collective reflection—honoring how memory lives in our bodies, lineages, and communities.
Memory is a living ecosystem that connects us all, no matter the identities, borders or languages that separate us. It lives, not just within our human connections, but within the infrastructure of our neighborhoods, our churches, our schools, our homes. How does memory live within you? What stories lie within your memory? How do those stories connect to people and places within your community?
Join us for a storytelling gathering shaped by the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray! Through reflection, small group circles, and large group witness, we’ll explore how memory, identity, and history live in our bodies, our neighborhoods, and our lineages!
This is a space to tell the truth as you know it and to be a witness to each other’s stories. You’ll be invited to speak, reflect, and listen in community throughout the afternoon.
Together, we’ll explore questions like:
What memories do you carry with you?
How does history show up in your community ?
What personal and shared stories have shaped you?
Whether you come to speak or to hold space, you are welcome here! No preparation needed—just presence!
